Meet the Maker!
Who am I, and where did it start?
I am a marker based in Calhoun County Michigan. I started my fursuit business in Fall 2020, with only 2 fursuits to the name. My first ever commission took 4 1/2 months to complete (most fursuits take about 1 year on average, though it varies from maker to maker and their skill level). This was not a rushed suit at all, it actually turned out great for a 3rd fursuit, though if I could go back and do something different to the suit is the ears, I wasn't a huge fan of them.

(Left) Pictures of Aeko, my first commission with their owner @starfizzfloofs on Twitter. Pictures belong to them and we do not claim to be the photographer. She has two removable Velcro tongues, one normal, and one floppy one that counts as a coin sock to hit children with (only those who are cultured will get the reference). The hair tuft (hair banana, pixie, what ever you call it) is removable, but with Velcro (big mistake, it flips off very easily, better off using magnets)
Q: What's your favorite specie to make?
A: Not to sound based, but I like canines (dogs, wolves, coyotes, ect..). They are pretty easy to sculpt, and I like dogs in real life. I'd say a lot of other makers would agree with me, because it's pretty hard to get a canine's base wrong. Also, a lot of the furry fandom has a canine-a-like fursuit, so we get a looot of practice with them.
Q: Have you ever been to a convention, and if not, which one would you like to be your first?
A: So far, I have not been to a convention. I would like to go to MFF (Midwest Fur Fest, in Rosemont Illinois), it seems like a very fun convention with a lot of furries, and it's about a 3ish hour drive away from where I live (probably at the time of the convention 4 hours, highways will be busy around the time with Christmas vacationers, and the thousands of furries fleeing to the city).
Q: Do you have a mascot?
A: Yes, and their name is midnight. Here's a picture of them ---->

Q: Do you plan on making a fursuit of your mascot?
A: Yes, I do, and I can't wait when the time comes. The problem is that I need to work for that money first and then I can buy the materials for Midnight.
